I recently bought a used PSPgo and had to unlock the system but I didn’t have the four digit password. Maybe you’ve got one and you just forgot the password? It turns out this is a fairly common problem and it’s reasonably easy to fix.
I didn’t want to completely clear the memory on the PSP Go because there were some good games but I needed to update the account info so I could buy more and the password was getting in my way.
- go to system settings under settings in the home menu
- click restore to default settings
- the password will now be reset to 0000 or 9999
